In this lesson, you will review how to use the Virtual Data Wall. You can create individual teacher and staff evaluation plans as well as create plans for members of a group.
Where to Start
To start a plan you must begin with a template. To create a template click Plans in the laft navigation then clickCreate Template. If you would like to create a plan using an existing template skip this step.
To begin creating plans for teachers, start with the Virtual Data Wall. To access this click Virtual Data Wall>Staff.
IMPORTANT: If you do not select a teacher before clicking Create Educator Plan, the plan will be created for all staff members in the school. If you do not wish to create a plan for all staff, please be sure to select an individual or a group.
If you are creating the plan for an individual, select the teachers card then click Create Educator Plan.
If you would like to create a plan for a group, use the selections on the left side to filter your results. In the example below, the Last Name filter was used to select six teachers. Once you have used the filters to select your group click Create Educator Plan.
Next you select the template you would like to use to create your plan and give it a name. There is no need to include the teachers name in the plan, it will be automatically added at the end. Click OK to create the plan.
Select the items you would like to include in the plan. These are the To Do Itemsthat need to be completed or documented to complete the plan. To select all items click Select All at the bottom. Once you have made your selections click OK.
Click Plans on the left to return to Plans where you can view and complete To Do Items.
Click Staff Evaluations to view teacher plans.
Then click the title of the plan to view its items.
Click on an item to complete a task.
Some items will have different requirements for completion. To Do Items that are displayed with a yellow sheet of paper will have a form to fill out and digitally sign.
Blank To Do Items just need to be marked as complete. To do this click the gear icon in the bottom right then click Mark Complete. You can also add comments or attachments as needed.
